I recently separated from the Navy after nine years of service. The last three were spent instructing future submarine ITs and these last few years are where I developed my passion for teaching and tutoring. Day to day coaching, mentoring and instructing proved to be one of the most rewarding experiences of my Navy career and life. Seeing the light bulb come on and that A-ha! moment in a students face when knowledge is gained is the best part of teaching and mentoring.
