The Warriors remained in first place in NJCAA Region XXI Divisional play (7-2), by sweeping the Quinsigamond CC Wyverns by scores of 6-2 and 7-1 on Monday. In the first game Ethan Kelley (3-1) was in control from beginning to end as he allowed only four hits while striking out nine hitters and only allowing one earned run. Tyler Andrade continues to crush the ball out of the lead-off spot as he had three hits and raised his batting average to .390 on the season. Ben Monteiro, Chris Adams and Joe Walsh all knocked in runs in the 6-2 win.
In the second game, Luke Nagle recorded his first collegiate win (1-1) with athree hit, nine strike out complete game victory. Joe Walsh had a three hit day, including an rbi double. Chris Adams, Travis Ritchie and Trevor Packard all had a pair of hits in the 7-1 Warrior victory.
The softball team plays at home on Thursday, vs. divisional rival CCRI. Game time is 3:30. The baseball team also plays at home on Thursday vs. Dean College with a game time of 4:00 pm.
