I am a reading specialist who focuses on intensive reading and writing intervention with students in Kindergarten, first grade and second grade. I am a former first and second grade classroom teacher as well. In addition, I hold a Special Education degree.

I enjoy watching my students make progress as they learn the reading process. I want my students to feel proud of themselves and feel free to take risks so that they can become independent readers, writers and mathematicians.
