One of the most rewarding experiences for me is when a student working through a difficult topic finally "gets it". I primarily work as a scientific researcher, but I love teaching and tutoring because of these moments. I am very patient when working with students and I ensure that they fully understand a concept before moving on. Students often fall behind in math and science because the class moves on before they were ready, which leads to frustration.
