Hello. Its Mama Byn time again. Okay, so you have been invited to a last minute party and you have no idea what to toss together to bring. I dislike going to a party empty handed. Try this on for size. Call the host. Ask her/him what they may need for any last minute items like ice or napkins. More than likely, they will say they are all set. Here are a few of my helpful hints.

◦Here is what I do. I pick up a bottle of soda, a pint of sour cream and I grab a packet of Lipton onion soup mix or ranch will even do. I mix the sour cream and soup mix together in a pretty bowl. Wrap the bottle up to make it look like a gift and pick up a veggie platter at the store before I get to my destination.
◦Or you can make some brownies and frost them. These can be a party hit.
◦If you are going to a dinner party, bring a bottle of wine or a sparkling cider.
◦When I have run out of ideas, I have bought a small eye-catching bowl and a few different types of nuts. Placed them in the bowl and gave them to the host. It worked. They were grateful.
Whatever the party, all ways enjoy yourself and the people around you. Make love and food the focus and everything will come together.
