Lady Warriors fall to Springfield

In game one of a doubleheader on Sunday, Rylee Burt pitched 8 innings striking out 12 and only allowed one earned. The score was tied at the end of the 7thinning (regulation game) so the international tie breaker rule was used allowing a runner to start on second base. Two runs scored by Springfield and the Warriors couldn't get them back.

In the second game, Rylee Burt pitched 7 innings striking out 7. Marina Palladino went 3 for 4 with 3 RBIs, Kendra McMasters went 3 for 5 with an RBI and Steph Glynn went 3 for 4. Defense was shaky again but Kendra McMasters came through with a 2 RBI double to win the game in the 7th.
