We are looking for a passionate College Counselor to join the A+ Summer Enrichment ProgramWith locations in our Boston and Chinatown schools, the A+ Summer Enrichment Program is focused on preparing students to advance in the upcoming school year. For more information on our course offerings, go to www.aplusprogram.com We are seeking an experienced College Counselor for our College Application Bootcamp & Essay Writing Course. This Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is/Has: Dependable -- More reliable than spontaneous Adaptable/Flexible -- Enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction Autonomous/Independent -- Enjoys working with little direction Proven experience as a college counselor and/or teacher Thorough knowledge of teaching best practices and legal educational guidelines partnered with a willingness to follow the school's policies and procedures Experience with the Common Application process and thorough knowledge of the Higher Education system Excellent writing and interpersonal skills Well-organized and committed Creative and energetic Strong moral values and disciplineCollege Bootcamp will run Monday-Friday from 2-5 PM. We have two 3-week Sessions that run during the following dates: Session I: July 5th - July 21st, 2022 Session II: August 1st - August 17th, 2022TO APPLY: Please submit your resume and statement of interest to carlnelson@ascenglish.edu.
