The Warriors drop two games to Franklin Pierce JVs on Sunday

4/6/13

MASSASOIT 6 3
FRANKLIN PIERCE JV 7 9

The Warriors ended their six game winning streak yesterday on a blustery Sunday afternoon. Massasoit was chasing seven runs in the bottom of the seventh inning when Chris Adams smashed a bases loaded double to put them within a run. The Warriors were not able to cash in on the opportunity leaving them short of the win. Luke Nagle pitched six solid innings and only gave up four hits and three earned runs.

In the second game, the Warriors were held to five hits. Two of them were solo home runs for Chris Adams who had a four hit day with five runs batted in. Tyler Andrade had a pair of hits and Travis Ritchie had a single to account for the meager Warrior offense in game two of the double header. The Warriors stand at a 9-10 record for the season.

The Warriors play again at home on Tuesday, April 9, 2013 in a 3:30 start against Mass Bay CC.
